Work

I work mainly in the field of relational database analysis and design. I am also interested in educational uses of computers, the use of hypermedia in application software and the application of logic to the study of databases.

My curriculum vitae

I graduated from Charles U., Prague in 1965 (Numerical Methods) and started work at this faculty.My work then was mainly concerned with computer programming. I left the University in 1974 for political reasons and for almost twenty years worked as a computer programmer. I returrned to the University in 1991 and have been a member of the Computer Science Department ever since. I received my doctorate (RNDr.) at the Comenius U. in Bratislava in 1984 and my Ph.D. degree (CSc.) at the same University in 1996.
